I specialise in Print Design which includes Corporate Identity and Branding, Magazine Design, Brochures, Annual Reports, Company Profiles, Catalogues, Recipe Books etc.
April 2015 - June 2021
ART DIRECTOR - SA HOME OWNER MAGAZINE
As Art Director my duties were the design and look of the magazine as well as overseeing deadlines and staff members within the Art Department. I liaised with the printers and uploaded the magazine for print. We worked closely with the sales and marketing departments and designed any advertising material that was needed. I also worked on numerous other titles within the company, creating a new 'look and feel' for these magazines.
October 2007 - March 2015
FREELANCE ART DIRECTOR / GRAPHIC DESIGNER
I freelanced as an Art Director on the following magazines: Jewish Life, Complete Yoga and Joint Ability, and I was also a freelance designer on SA Home Owner magazine. Apart from Art Direction and magazine layout I also worked on various Corporate Identity, Brochures, Books, Catalogues, Flyers, Adverts, Recipe Books and more.
Sept 2003 - Sept 2007
ART DIRECTOR - CAXTON
I was Art Director on Living & Loving magazine and during this time my duties included the design of the magazine and overseeing the Art Department, as well as making sure that deadlines were met. I attended and assisted with photo shoots for covers, as well as any special features within the magazine.
